Engine Simulator
Android package: com.soundlab.rev
Effective date: October 20, 2026

This policy explains how Engine Simulator handles information when you use its engine sound simulation, optional motion and speed features, rewarded advertisements, purchases, and feedback tools. For privacy questions, contact the app developer at abelchanger@gmail.com.

1. Information used on your device

The app stores preferences, your selected vehicle, rewarded-ad access expiry times, and signed Google Play purchase records locally on your device. It does not require an app account or provide a public profile, chat service, or social feed.

Motion controls use accelerometer and device orientation readings to adjust simulated throttle. Optional real-vehicle mode uses foreground location access, GPS speed, direction and accuracy, together with motion readings, to adjust the simulation. These measurements are processed on your device. The app does not maintain a route history or upload raw GPS or sensor measurements to a developer-operated server. Location updates stop when the mode is stopped or the app leaves the foreground.

Location permission is optional for the basic sound simulation. You may use demo controls without granting location access, and you may revoke access in Android settings. The app does not request background location, microphone, camera, contacts, or photo-library access.

2. Advertising and consent

The app uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Some vehicles may be unlocked temporarily by completing a rewarded advertisement. These third-party services may collect and share information for advertising, measurement, analytics, and fraud prevention, including:

Where applicable, the app presents Google's consent messages and advertising privacy options. You can use the ad privacy option in the vehicle screen when it is available, and Android's advertising privacy controls to manage, reset or delete your advertising ID. Advertising availability and personalization depend on Google's settings, applicable law, and consent status. Buying permanent access removes the need to watch vehicle-unlock advertisements.

Google states that data transmitted by its Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS. See Google's Privacy Policy, Google's advertising information, and Mobile Ads SDK data disclosures for details.

3. Google Play purchases

Google Play processes purchases and payment details. The app receives purchase information such as the product identifier, purchase status, purchase token, acknowledgement status, and signed receipt to verify and restore access. Signed receipts are cached locally so an existing entitlement can be used offline. Google Play may also make order information available to the developer through its order-management tools.

The app does not receive or store your full payment-card details. Purchase restoration uses the Google Play account associated with the purchase. For Google's handling of payment information and records, refer to Google Payments' Privacy Notice and Google Play refund information.

4. Redemption codes and support

If you redeem a code, the app sends the code, a randomly generated installation identifier and, on later checks, its signed access credential to the developer's server in Singapore over HTTPS. This optional service verifies access to vehicle sound profiles. It does not receive your raw motion readings, GPS measurements, Google Play account or payment-card details.

The server stores a one-way hash of each redemption code and records the grant identifier and installation identifier to enforce usage limits and revocation. The app stores a signed access credential locally. Credentials last up to seven days and are normally rechecked daily when you use the app online. Network outages do not extend their expiry. An unlimited review code can be redeemed repeatedly; other codes may have usage limits or expiration dates.

For abuse prevention, the server briefly stores a hash of the requesting IP address and request counts. These rate-limit records are removed within 24 hours during subsequent requests. Request bodies, plaintext redemption codes and access credentials are not written to access logs. Redemption records are retained while the grant is active and removed within 30 days after the associated code expires or is disabled. Contact the developer to request deletion; including your grant identifier is optional and helps locate the record.

If you choose the feedback action, the app opens your email app with the developer's address. No message is sent automatically. If you send an email, the developer receives your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to include, and uses them to answer your request and investigate reported issues. Do not include passwords, payment-card numbers, or information you do not want to send.

5. Retention, deletion and your choices

Local preferences, ad passes and cached purchase records remain until you clear the app's storage, uninstall it, or the app updates or removes an entitlement. Clearing storage does not cancel a Google Play purchase; an eligible purchase may be restored with the same Play account.

Support correspondence is retained only as needed to respond to and resolve requests, maintain necessary support records, and meet applicable legal obligations. To request deletion of support information held by the developer, email abelchanger@gmail.com. Records controlled by Google, your email provider, or other service providers are subject to their own retention and deletion procedures. The developer cannot delete records directly from those providers.

6. Sharing and service providers

The app does not operate a developer-hosted analytics or user-account service. It operates the optional redemption service described above. Advertising and purchases involve Google services as described above. Feedback you send is handled through your chosen email provider and the developer's email provider. These providers may process information in countries other than your own under their policies and applicable laws. Information may also be disclosed when legally required.

7. Children and intended audience

The app is intended for people aged 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has sent personal information directly to the developer, please contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate. Regional rules and provider requirements may apply additional age or consent restrictions.

8. Security

The app relies on Android storage protections and Google Play purchase verification. No system can guarantee absolute security. Please protect your device and Google account and use current software.

9. Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when app features, service providers or legal requirements change. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Contact: abelchanger@gmail.com.
